According to a FAQ @ Carter Burwell's Official Site, he won't be working on New Moon, and nobody knows if his themes from the First movie are going to be carried over in New Moon.
For anybody who doesn't know, this is the guy who wrote and produced Bell'as Lullaby! Does that mean no Lullaby? How is that going to work!! It like a key to all books! What will put Bella to sleep at night?
Chris Weitz, the director of New Moon, has hired Alexandre Deplat to composer the music for the film. So who knows what will come of it.
